The Full Story
Savvy Reptiles, LLC.
Savvy Reptiles was started by Blake Shattles and Savanna Swann in 2023. We met last year and quickly discovered we both shared a love not only for each other, but also for reptiles. Before we came together, Blake owned a ball python and Savanna owned two yellow bellied sliders. These numbers quickly changed into six snakes, ten turtles, four frogs, and a gecko which made us realize that we should share our passion with the world. Our baby king snake made us go public and when we gained enough experience, we decided start our own breeding process and that's when Savvy Reptiles was formed.
Mission
We believe that reptiles can be just like any other household pet. People should not be scared to get out of their comfort zone by having a snake, but at the same time we should respect these reptiles and their boundaries by educating ourselves about their behavior. Every time we can help someone change their opinions about any type of reptile is a success for us.
Vision
Our vision for this company is most definitely not about the money, but to educate people and ourselves about these beautiful creatures. In return, we want your help because we still have some learning to do ourselves so please feel free to reach out and share your thoughts. Our dream is to work with reptiles full time and it takes you guys to help us succeed. Our primary goal is to make sure our reptiles go to their perfect and forever homes.

My name is Savanna Swann
Growing up can be hard and leaves an empty pit in your chest like you should be doing more. My father saw that and decided to bring home my best friend (a yellow bellied slider). This best friend of course needed a friend and my passion for this lovely species sky rocketed from there. Many people stood in my way and called me weird for believing reptiles have emotions, but my lovely boyfriend opened my eyes and now look at us now.

The love for reptiles started at a very young age for me all thanks to the legendary Steve Irwin. I would always sneak away from the house to go to the barn or the woods in search for anything I could find. I grew up with all kinds of animals but reptiles were the most interesting to me. I knew from a very young age, I wanted to work with reptiles. With my amazing girlfriends help, I am finally living that dream.

There is never an escapee on my watch due to my lassoing and herding skills "YeeHaw". I'm also analyzing mom and dads every move without them knowing to make sure nobody steals my attention.

I'm the Head of Security around these parts. No reptiles or humans are allowed to leave the premises without my permission! Treats wins me over sometimes!

My name is Enzo
I'm just the goofball that causes trouble by chasing the rats. But I consider myself fully in charge even though nobody listens to me. I tend to sneak into the reptile room without my parents seeing to say "Hi" to everyone. So you can consider me a lover not a fighter.
