The tricolor hognose is a small vibrant snake mimicking a coral snake. They originate in Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Bolivia so you can guess that they enjoy a dry and sandy environment. Their shovel like nose helps them find food in these environments and it’s mighty cute. As long as you keep their environment clean, they are easy to care for.  This guy is quite gentle and docile, but can be timid at times. They can reach up to twenty four inches and reach 8 years old.
